And yesterday I got my birthday present from my parents in the mail!
It's so pretty, I love it! It's from the Vintage Pearl (check out their stuff {here})
They have ones with birthdays or baby footprints or rhymes stamped into them, but I just loved the plain ol' serif type of my boys' names.
I guess we're stuck with these names now... there's no turning back now that they've been stamped into metal.
I've never been much of a necklace wearer, but I have only taken this off to sleep and breastfeed (otherwise the boys grab on and puuuull!) and then I put it right back on.
I love it. Seriously.
Also, the picture that won from yesterday was number 5. So I have submitted it to the Paper Mama photo challenge.
Here it is again, being adorable:
And I know they don't look like much, but those legs have some serious meat on them compared to before.
The boys are weighing in at 9lbs 8oz (Grey) and 9lbs even (Micah)!
They've almost doubled their birth weights!
Yowser!
Check out my post today on Spearmint Baby:
And a vote for your favorite semi-chubby legs?
Okay, fine. A vote for MY favorite semi-chubby legs? Aw, thanks.
We're in the top 50 now, by the way. Just a few more clicks and we'll be all up on the front page, what!?

so cute! thanks for sharing your necklace, great pics!
I am a new follower, and just wanted to say that your babies are adorable. I also have read through a few posts, loving your blog! :)
I'm so excited that you love the necklace. It is super cute, I love it too! Yeah
I am so jealous of your Vintage Pearl necklace! I have dropped hints to my hubby but he hasn't caught on yet that I would love one one of their necklaces. I still have hope for Mothers Day, though!
Love the Vintage Pearl! I've been eyeing their necklaces for quite some time now. So simple and classic. Love the cloth too, we've been using BumGenius diapers since day 1 with out little man!
Hi!
I read your post on Spearmint Baby about cloth diapering. I just started using cloth on our 6 week old. I bought them gradually while I was still pregnant so the shock of the cost was dispersed over several increments. But I bought Rocky Mountain Diapers. They have a website, but I chose them for two reasons. One because they are made locally and two because they had snaps. A friend of mine started cloth diapering with diapers with velcro and she said that the velcro wore out by her second baby. I knew I wanted to be able to use them for more than one baby (because that's where the savings really becomes obvious). Anyway, I noticed the ones on your boy have snaps as well. Hopefully you guys are finding it as easy as we are. I made a bunch of cloth wipes and I found a recipe for wipe solution. So it is super easy because I just roll the wipe up in the diaper and dump the entire diaper pail into the wash. Everything separates in the drier so the only labor intensive part of cloth diapering is putting the liners back in after I wash them. Whew sorry for writing so much in your comments! hehehe.
your lil ones are so cute! I have twins too!
Our Huxley was born at 9 lbs 8 oz. I can't imagine him being any smaller! I feel like we missed our on him being a newborn, since he was so gosh darn stout.
Your boys are precious!
xo,

Love those little legs! Keep taking pictures of them so we can watch them get meatier! (if that's a word)
Super cute necklace! I'm new to your blog and just wanted to say "hi". I'm also a mother to twins so it's nice to read about your stories, struggles and joys.
Your Paper Mama challenge entry is so so cute! I love the composition.
